The Women’s Choral Society of the University of Oslo is an active choir that regularly organizes concerts, goes on trips and participates in prestigious competitions.

Prizes
In august 2019 the choir participated in Grand Prix of Nations in Gothenburg during the European Choir Games, and placed first in both categories, Folklore and Adult Choir. Spring 2019 KSS also placed 3rd in the prestigious Fleischmann International Trophy Competition, during Cork Choral Festival in Ireland.
Due to the high rankings in Interkultur’s competitions the last years, KSS have been at the very top of Interkultur’s ranking list of the world’s female choirs, since 2015. Since 2019 KSS is also at the top of the world ranking for Folklore choirs.
